{"id":1678,"date":"2021-11-27T06:41:08","date_gmt":"2021-11-27T06:41:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/365stack.in\/?p=1678"},"modified":"2021-11-27T09:10:19","modified_gmt":"2021-11-27T09:10:19","slug":"how-to-add-microsoft-forms-responses-to-database","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/365stack.in\/index.php\/2021\/11\/27\/how-to-add-microsoft-forms-responses-to-database\/","title":{"rendered":"How to add Microsoft Forms responses to database"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Add Microsoft Forms responses to databases using power automate will help any person\/organization to do advanced data analytics on the responses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can add responses to list or table using Power Automate in two different ways and create your survey using Microsoft Form as a first step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Method 1:<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>After creating the survey using Microsoft Form, create a new &#8216;Automated Flow&#8217; type flow and select the &#8216;When a new response is submitted&#8217; as trigger event. This method is not efficient for large number of response since the flow creates same number instances and end up in throttle issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Method 2 :<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Create a new Instant Cloud flow or Scheduled Cloud Flow and Initialize the required variables such as Form Id,  User Id and Tenant ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Find the &#8216;FormId&#8217; query string parameter from the Microsoft Form (<em>Open the Microsoft form in design mode<\/em>) and set the value to FormId variable.<\/li><li>Using the Get my profile (V2) action, set the User Id value to &#8216;User Id&#8217;
